Yes — MayDay-IC is built offline-first. Every core field operations tool works without any connectivity: incident management, patient tracking, crew assignments, triage protocols (START, JumpSTART, SALT, ESI), ICS form generation, ERG/Hazmat placard lookup, and map navigation. Nothing you do in the field is ever lost — actions queue locally and sync automatically the moment a connection returns, with built-in conflict resolution. The AI Advisor, live weather alerts, and AI-powered phone line are cloud services that, like all cloud services, require internet — but your incident command capability never depends on them.
MayDay-IC is built with HIPAA alignment from the ground up. All Protected Health Information (PHI) is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM — both on the server and on the device. Data is encrypted in transit over TLS, and access is protected by multi-factor authentication, role-based permissions, and comprehensive audit logging. A signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is available for covered entities.
MayDay-IC serves a wide range of public safety and emergency management organizations: municipal and county EMS services, fire departments, law enforcement agencies, hospital emergency departments, emergency management offices (county, state, and federal), volunteer fire and EMS companies, and federal agencies operating under NIMS. MayDay-IC is designed natively for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android smartphones and tablets. The standalone app is coming soon to the Apple App Store and Google Play. Yes. MayDay-IC includes a CAD integration layer that supports inbound dispatch data from major CAD vendors. Configurable field mappings allow incident data to flow directly into MayDay-IC from your existing dispatch center.
